My favorite hobby is photography, which I've been having for over ten years. However, back in China I did not have a camera. Therefore, I used to take photos from my phone and tried to edit like a professional. After taking photo class in Watkinson, I found that taking photos is not what I previously expected. In fact, it is more challenging and fun. I had my first camera- Nikon D3400, with lens of Tamron AF 18-270 mm. 

I always find inspirations in photos no matter if its landscape or portrait. I like to put in creative mind and composition together to frame my photos. Then, I would edit in Lightroom to finish up an ideal photo. I've also used Photoshop to create a series of four make-up commercials. Besides generating art elements, I also take photos in different trips. I took photos in Dominican Republic service trip which one of the photos won a golden award in national competition . I also brought my camera to Jordan (I will finish edit those later).

This year, although I'm not taking photography class, I continued this passion into my senior project. I am going to learn to develop the skills, knowledge and techniques as a fashion photographer by diving into research of fashion photography history and learning with a portrait photographer.
